This may be caused by one of the following issues:

To fix this, turn on your device's location-data feature.
Note: Multiplayer features that rely on your device's location data to function cannot be used if your Nintendo Account's country is set to South Korea.
・ Your device may not be receiving location data correctly.
Connecting to a Wi-Fi network may improve this.
・ Your game version may not match that of the players around you.
To fix this, please ensure that you and the people you want to play with have updated to the latest version of the game.

・ Connecting to Wi-Fi may improve the accuracy of location data.
・ It may also help if you set your device's location method to "high accuracy."
