You can change the control style by tapping Menu, then Settings, then selecting the controls that best suit your play style.
- Manual Drift
If enabled, you'll start to drift when you tap the screen and slide left or right. - Smart Steering
If enabled, your kart will automatically steer away from the edges of the course. - Auto-Item
If enabled, the items you have will automatically be used when you break a new item box. - Gyro Handling
If enabled, you can steer your kart by tilting your device. This can't be used on devices without a motion sensor.
Smart Steering and auto-item are disabled during battles and cannot be turned on.
