When multiple actions are performed in quick succession, a combo will start. The combo count will increase based on the number of actions performed while the combo streak continues. If a combo streak is broken, the combo count will reset to zero. Combo streaks will not break during Frenzy.
A combo bonus is added based on your combo count when you complete a lap in the race, but it's not added to your position points.
The highest combo count that a combo bonus can reach is determined by cc. At 50cc, the combo count can reach up to 6. At 100cc, up to 11, and at 150cc and 200cc, up to 16.
Combo time varies depending on an action's bonus-points value (before taking into account additions, such as those from special skills and the kart's bonus point increase). Combo time can be increased by gliders' levels or favored courses.
